A Family Tradition

Windy Hill Workshop is a veteran owned business located in the rolling farmlands of Southern Pennsylvania and is based on a rich heritage of makers. We are the sons and daughters of generations of unsurpassed craftmanship in the carpentry and woodworking field. This family skillset was brought to Pennsylvania in 1705 settling in Conestoga, Lancaster County.  Windy Hill Workshop was established in 2012 and primarily limited to projects for family and friends. In 2020 the shop began to grow into a creative production type space and in December of 2022 our workshop officially became an LLC.

Windy Hill Cross Ministry

Windy Hill Cross Ministry handcrafts small wooden crosses to encourage & spread hope. The crosses are donated to churches, military communities, both stateside and overseas as well as other various charitable organizations.

We have been deeply moved by the heartfelt testimonials shared by individuals across diverse backgrounds who have been touched by receiving one of these special crosses as a thoughtful gift.

This Ministry was originally started by Jamie’s father and late brother Charlie in 2004. At the time they had produced over 20,000 crosses between them. We have continued this Ministry, dedicated to creating each cross with care and devotion. To date, the Cross Ministry has handcrafted over 85,000 crosses, each one carrying a profound sense of faith and hope.
